Two-a-Day Tour 2025: Nikki Rowe Warriors
The Nikki Rowe Warriors are coming back after a tough year, but a big change has the players and community excited. The hire of new head coach Jamarr Taylor. With the former NFL player comes a clean slate for everyone on the team. The Warriors offense is rejuvenated and ready to bounce back this fall.
"We got some great looking kids on offense, we got a lot of H back tight end tight bodies, the Travis Kelce type body. We've got about 4 running backs who can all carry the ball so it's going to be interesting but as this day and age you've got to have a lot of depth and we've got a lot of depth in the running back position," said Rowe head football coach, Jamarr Taylor.
Rowe's defense may be their biggest asset this year. Coach Taylor is a strong believer in the talent he sees on that side of the ball and is ready to frustrate opposing offenses on Friday nights.
"We're an experienced group, full of seniors but we have some guys ready to step up into new rules, have a great coaching staff. Coach did an excellent job hiring, we're going to be very prepared," said Rowe senior linebacker Dante Rodriguez.
The Warriors kickoff their season against Harlingen South on August 29.
