Over 100 power outages were reported Thursday across the Rio Grande Valley as of 6 p.m.

Outage maps from AEP Texas and Magic Valley Electric Cooperative shows a total of 166 outages.

A severe thunderstorm warning is in effect in Hidalgo and Starr counties until Thursday at 7 p.m.
